Our departments
Six departments make up the business. Each page shows the purpose, the people, the measures that matter and the systems the team works in.
Service Desk and End User Support
The Service Desk is the single point of contact for every client user. Analysts log, prioritise and resolve incidents and service requests, escalate to specialist teams when needed, and keep the knowledge base current so that common problems are fixed the same way every time.
Network and Infrastructure
Network and Infrastructure designs, installs, monitors and maintains client networks, servers, virtual platforms, storage and backups. The team handles field work at client sites including cabling, hardware replacement and office moves, and keeps every environment documented.
Cyber Security Operations
Cyber Security Operations protects client environments through endpoint protection, patching, multi-factor authentication, vulnerability scanning and security monitoring. The team triages alerts, responds to incidents, runs awareness training and reports client maturity against the Essential Eight.
Software and Web Development
Software and Web Development builds and maintains custom applications, integrations, websites and intranets for clients and for Nova's own tools. The team works in two week sprints, keeps everything in version control and tests every release before it is deployed through change control.
Projects and Client Solutions
Projects and Client Solutions scopes, plans and delivers client projects such as cloud migrations, office relocations, system replacements and security uplifts. The team manages requirements, budgets, schedules, risks and handover, and looks after the account relationship with each managed client.
Business Services
Business Services runs finance, people and culture, work health and safety, compliance and the information security management system. The team onboards staff, manages inductions and training records, runs internal audits and keeps the controlled document library and asset register accurate.
