Multi-factor authentication enforcement at Bluegum on 22 September
Change CR-26-076 enforces multi-factor authentication for every Bluegum Community Services user from Monday 22 September. Expect a rise in enrolment tickets that week. The knowledge base article on authenticator enrolment has been updated and the temporary access pass process applies. Do not disable the requirement for any user without approval from Yasmin.

Ticketing platform upgrade on Saturday 26 September
The ticketing platform will be upgraded from 7:00 am on Saturday 26 September under change CR-26-077. The platform will be unavailable for up to two hours and the on-call engineer will log tickets on paper during the window. Analyst training on the new interface runs on Thursday 24 September at 3:00 pm in the Richmond training room and online.

Two person rule for ladders and ceiling spaces
Following the recent server lifting strain and the near miss on a ladder in July, the two person rule for ladder and ceiling space work is now mandatory with no exceptions. If a client asks for a single technician visit that involves either task, reschedule it. Field kits have been checked and each vehicle now carries a server lift.

Internal audit of the security management system
The spring internal audit of the information security management system runs from 13 to 15 October. Auditors will sample tickets, change records, access reviews and the information asset register. Please make sure your tickets carry complete notes and that no credentials appear in tickets, chat or email. Findings will be discussed at the October operations review.

Welcome to our two new service desk analysts
Two new analysts join the service desk on 21 September, one in Richmond and one in Fortitude Valley. They will shadow Chloe and the Brisbane team for the first fortnight. Please make time to introduce yourselves and to share the knowledge base articles you rely on most. The team lunch is on Friday 25 September.
